Valuation of yachts
now clear due to standard HISWA Valuation Report
The development of a
standard HISWA Valuation Report for yachts has made the procedure of
valuations transparent and clear. The HISWA Association has drawn up
the valuation report together with the HISWA Qualified Experts and
Brokers.
Due to the
standardisation of the report the value of the yacht is established
consistently. A better insight in the way in which the value judgment
is achieved offers added value both for the consumer and for the
financier. The report can be used by the HISWA Qualified brokers and
surveyors, who are often involved in the case of valuations for
buying and selling, financing and insuring a yacht.
The new report also
meets the special wishes of the various financiers. A.F. van der
Laaken of the Friesland Bank: “We are very happy with this HISWA
initiative because the water sport market which is professionalising
continuously, was waiting for a new standard”.
HISWA Qualified
